  • Ensure your passports are up to date and valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates to Italy.

Remember, passport renewal can take several weeks or longer, so begin the process as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute stress.

  • Starting in the first half of 2025, travelers will be required to have a travel authorization to enter 30 European countries for a short stay, including Italy.

Please find more information on the new requirement and how to apply here: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en

    It's very easy!

  • For the most convenient travel to Como, we recommend flying into the Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). Located just a short train or car ride away, Milan offers the easiest access to Como and provides a range of flight options from major international airports.

  • From Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), you have several convenient options to reach Como. You can rent a car and enjoy a scenic drive of about an hour, or opt for prearranged transportation for an stress-free journey. Alternatively, take a direct train from Milan's central station to Como, which offers a comfortable and efficient route. If you have some extra time, consider staying a night or two in Milan to explore the city’s rich culture and vibrant atmosphere before heading to Como while getting acclimated to the time change.

We are happy to help arrange drivers and or vans for groups arriving at similar times.

If renting a car we recommend Hertz or Sixt. Kindly be aware of hours of operations of each of the rental car desks as some flights arrive early morning before hours of operation.

  • Exploring Como is a breeze with its efficient public ferry system, offering scenic and convenient travel around the lake. Additionally, you can use local buses, taxis, or rental bikes for more flexibility. Whether you’re hopping between charming towns or enjoying the lakefront, you'll find plenty of ways to navigate and soak in the beautiful surroundings.
